6th grade

Students just took a listening assessment about the weather and seasons. This is their last grade for trimester 2. They are doing their post-assessment test in class now, which is used to measure their progress since October and does not affect their Powerschool grade. They currently have no homework.

Wednesday, March 19th, 2014

Students are taking their weather and seasons listening assessment today in class. They are setting up their ISN with temperature notes and should review their numbers from 0-100 for homework.

Monday, March 10th, 2014

Students are learning about the seasons and weather. On Tuesday and Wednesday they will participate in a four corner activity to practice the names of the seasons. They have a weather worksheet for homework. Students will have a weather and season listening assessment in class on the following days:

A-day-Monday, March 17th

B-day-Tuesday, March 18th

6th grade

Friday, February 14th, 2014

Students will have their countries, capitals and regions test on the following dates:

A-day-Friday, Feb. 21st

B-day-Monday, Feb.24th

Students should know all 21 countries and capitals. They need to know what region each country is located in and be able to identify all countries on a map.
