Wow, I just finished the book The Year of Miss Agnes. I really felt a connection to this book. I too had many fears about meeting new teachers and learning new ways in the classroom. I really liked the part when Fred and Bertha had tea with Miss Agnes. I would recommend this book because as a student you will be able to relate to the things that happen in class.
