Wow, I just finished the book The Year of Miss Agnes. I really felt a connection to this book. I too had many fears about meeting new teachers and learning new ways in the classroom. I really liked the part when Fred and Bertha had tea with Miss Agnes. I would recommend this book because as a student you will be able to relate to the things that happen in class.

I'm not sure, it seems that he is, but with Dan Gutman writing, it's hard to tell what's going to happen next.

I don't think that {so far} Judson is taking it seriously because he could do some reasearch on what to do.

She also wanted to go to war, another thing that she wanted to do was to be free and to do whatever she wanted to do.

Deborah Sampson showed us that women could also fight for freedom during the Revolutionary War. She set out looking for adventure and found herself fighting for her life and the lives of the other soldiers. Deborah Sampson will also be remembered for being the brave soldier who was really a woman.
