Guided Reading

Dear Radical Readers,

I hope you are looking forward to our author study on Patricia MacLachlan. All groups will be reading a fantastic novel by one of my favorite writers.  As you read and reflect, please ask questions and make comments on our class blog underneath Guided Reading.  You can also talk to others about words you may need clarified. At times, you will be answering questions on the blog instead of your reader response journal. Be sure to write comments under the book you are reading with your group in class. Happy reading and happy blogging!

I noticed that Patricia MacLachlan uses alot of details while writing because when I was reading page 12, I found out about what all the rooms look like in their house, in just one page!!

I am not in this group but can you tell me what the book is about? Who are the main character in the book? What is the feeling in this book so far? What is the problem in the book if you got to the part yet?
