-Building a log cabin out of pretzel sticks for Abraham Lincoln
-Playing President’s Day Tic Tac Toe and Memory to build vocabulary knowledge
-Taking a class vote on their favorite president: Obama, Lincoln, Washington
-Learning about African American singer Marian Anderson
-The sense of “sight” for our 5 senses unit
-Continuing to write small moment stories that have a beginning, middle, and end
-Learning how to write stories about the “most important part”
-Starting a handwriting workbook
