How has Stanley changed from the beginning of the book?

I think Stanley has changed throughout the book because, in the begining he always trying to act tougher and now he is always getting in trouble and trying to act innocent.
Stanley has changed from the beginning of the book because before he wasn’t used to digging holes and standing out in the sun, also he was the last person in his group to finish digging and he didn’t want anything to do with any of the other campers. Now, Stanley is freinds with his campmates, he is making deals with people, usually third or fourth done digging and is very used to digging holes and it is easier to dig holes than it was when he first entered Camp Green Lake.
Stanley changed by before he doesn’t have anybody to stick up for him.He got a new friend Hector and he got stronger from digging holes.
Stanley has changed by getting used to harsh conditions. The scorching sun doesn’t effect him as much as it used to. He has also gotten used to being thirsty because he hardly gets any water.
Stanley has gotten a lot stronger since the beginning of the book. I know this because his body has gotten used to the harsh weather conditions and by digging holes every day, he has built up a lot of body strength. He has also gotten more outgoing, you could say, because he is not afraid to speak his mind and he’s defending himself more now, just because Zero is digging part of his hole for him so that he has the energy to teach him to read at the end of the day. The other boys are humiliating him, and at first he would not have been able to stand up for himself, but now he’s becoming very defensive of himself and Zero. That is how Stanley has changed from the beginning of the book.
In the beginning, Stanley was frustrated by digging holes, it was really hard for him to dig, and it took FOREVER! He didn’t have friends either. Now, he gets done faster, he got used to digging. He has some friends too, X-Ray and Zero!
