In the book I pictured Winn-Dixie looking smaller and a big tail and a little bit fuzzy. In the movie Winn-Dixie looked nothing like I imagined. That part was a really big suprise to me

I agree. Wayside books are very funny. Not funny, but halarious!!!! I say, Louis Sacher is a very good author. Even though he's isn't my favorite author, whoever is a fan of very funny, or even halarious books should read Wayside School for a real classic laugh!!! :!: :!: :!:

Veronica, I agree with you that the police officer kept appearing in the movie and not the book! :

In the book, I thought it was more detailed and I liked it better. The movie has some funny parts too. I liked the book more because you can have your own visualization of what is happening instead of the director's vision for the movie. There are many differences between the book and the movie and I think that the book is always better than the movie.

I think that the difference between the book and the made a person realize that the author didn't make the movie. Then on the other hand the director couldn't use the same stuff. I liked the book better because I had my own vision.

Krisha,
I agree about everything you said. The movie was really funny but, the book had more detail. I also think that the movie was intense but, the book made more sense. :!: The difference that I noticed was that the movie was different from the book because the movie was much funnier than the book. In the book, you could draw a picture in your head and have your own vision insted of a another persons vison. I belive that that that is one of the diffrences between the book and the movie.
