Ms. Walker’s Class – The Names

Manice, Vince, and Kayla were on the computer and they got an email from a cyber pal and he asked them their first and last name. They sent fake names.

Do you think that was ok?

Explain what you think about their choice.

Ms. Walker’s Class – David & Michelle Get a Random Email

David and Michelle were at home by themselves on the computer.  All of the sudden, a random email pops up. It was signed by their friends name but they weren’t sure it was there friend.  They opened it just to make sure that it was their friend it seemed like it was their friend because it said I know you.  After they looked at it a second time, they deleted it.

Was that a good choice?  Why?

Ms. Daley’s Class – Hacking Into Computers

Stephanie hacked in to the school’s computer because she wanted to change her grades. So during lunch she snuck in to the tech lab and went on the school’s computer. Then she got caught and lied to the teacher.

Eric and Ben were doing a project on the computer. They were researching about states. They printed some information without any of the teacher’s permission. Plus, they forgot to put where they found the information on their report.

Sonali and Sonali were both at the library doing research on puppies for their Animal Science Project. They  found some excellent information and copied it word by word. They did not write the website where they found their information. Explain if the Sonalis made a good choice.

Rohan, Saketh and Yash were on the computer playing a game called basketball shootin’   and something popped up. It said to enter your first and last name. Sakeh Rohan and Yash decided not put any thing in.

Carol and John went to the school library to find a book.  They didn’t find a book, so they went on the computer.  A stranger sent them a message.  They told the librarian about it and didn’t reply to the stranger.

Micheal went to school one day. He came across a bully in the boy’s bathroom. After a long day of school he came home. He checked his email. There was one new message waiting for him. He opened it up and found an email from the bully at school threatening him. He kept the news to himself. He did what the bully told him to do.
