“CREEEAAAKK!” Jimmy and Sandra carefully opened the creaky old wooden front door of the shed, being extremely quiet. Clicking on the keys of the keyboard, Dan peered at the shifting computer screen of the new game, ” Pharoh”. All he ever thought was games, games and games, never a Geomtry test grade.
” Dan, come down right now or your computer games will go bye, bye!” Mrs. Line called from the kitchen table.
From hearing the sound of her voice, Dan tumbled down the stairs not forgetting to pause his computer game. There, his mother sat with a bulgy frown on her face and her eyebrows in frustaration mode.
“Tell me young man, why do you have 42% on your simple Geomtry test?” words bolted out of Mrs. Line’s mouth like lightning.
” Ummm…… I blanked out.” Dan replied shivering. Hearing his mom yelling was like digging out snow on the driveway after a three- day straight blizzard.
” I taught you Geomtry for four days and you score a 42% on your test!” his mom blurted.” You know what. I’m deleting all your computer games and will only put them back on the computer if you score perfect grades on the upcoming three tests.”
Mrs. Line stormed upstairs and deleted every single one of Dan’s favorite games, which basically was all of them.
