February 13th, 2010Hi Everyone. I hope you enjoyed the nice 6 day weekend. Because many of you have been asking, here is the professional recording. The song is entitled “Theme and Tirade” by Richard Saucedo. For those of you who have been in Wind Symphony for 3 years now, you should remember Richard Saucedo’s name. He was responsible for “Rhythm Danse”. If you’re in District Band, you know his name because he wrote “Flight of the Thunderbird”. Give it a lesson and let me know what you think.

September 21st, 2009Congrats to everyone at rehearsal today. That was a fantastic start to the school year. Below is the first recording for the Wind Symphony this year. Be gentle with your comments!! Remember, you had only been playing together as an ensemble for 35 minutes. We’re going to work on dynamics and counting the 5/4 measures on Wednesday.
